Principal and founder Kira Stewart combined 20 years in Fortune 500 companies, 15 years as a professional artist and a BA in Studio Art from UC Davis to open Art Consulting Services in 2006. At ACS, Kira has art directed over 700 projects in the past 18 years, and continues to be a leader and innovator in strategic partnerships with clients, community members and the ACS team. She has presented at two national healthcare design conferences and been featured on KCRA News 3, in the Sacramento Bee, Sacramento Business Journal, and Inside East Sacramento.

Prior to opening ACS, Kira was a working painter represented by one of Sacramento’s premier galleries, a founding member of a successful cooperative art gallery, a drawing instructor, and a volunteer on-air art expert during local PBS member station KVIE’s annual art auction.

Kira has created a collaborative work culture of continuous improvement with an on-going agenda of developing and evaluating standards of services and best practices. A training incubator for young professionals, ACS has produced professionals who have gone on to careers in interior design and architecture or opened other art consulting firms and galleries.
