Design Task

This multi-building refresh project celebrates and speaks to the region with pieces by local and regional artists and imagery featuring the bay area. The staff felt strongly about including artwork that was colorful and dynamic. The project features 12 custom commissioned pieces utilizing many different mediums (fabric art, glass mosaic, paintings, wood wall sculptures, yarn art, rope art, resin art, recycled plastic art). This includes a 3-story suspended, fabric mobile in colors that coordinate with the skyline wall graphic featured on the exterior of the elevator bank. The goal of the stairwell art was to provide interest and encourage patients and staff to take the stairs.
