For the flagship innovation center of this global agricultural R&D firm, the project goals were to provide pieces that would guide their facility tours while also enhancing the workspace for staff. Guests begin their tour experience by viewing a custom adjustable world map map that reflects the company’s branding, showcases their three key innovation centers and other locations around the world using adjustable layered location points and interchangeable images. A standout feature is the custom R&D wall in the lab that the facility tours will stop at that explains the scientific processes through a design of various substrates and layers. To enrich the tour experience, we designed elements that also beautify the workspace, including window films for the front doors and large conference room, as well as a custom fused glass sculpture by a regional artist in the second conference room. Custom-branded montages highlight the specific crops the company researches, complemented by imagery of these crops on canvas and metal substrates in the meeting rooms. The cafeteria features prints of vintage California posters celebrating famous landmarks, creating an inviting atmosphere that reflects the company’s identity and mission.
