ACS is proud to be associated with:

Giving Back
ACS supports non-profit organizations such as WEAVE, a crisis intervention center providing services in Sacramento County.  ACS contributed services and artwork for WEAVE’s new facilities, where original artwork was generously supplied by artists and suppliers in partnership with ACS.

ACS is also an ARTZ, Artists for Alzheimer's sponsor, and is active in lending artwork for their ARTZ Delivers program, whose Sacramento Chapter facilitates interactive art events at senior memory care facilities. ARTZ creates programs to help people living with Alzheimer's Disease to experience something beautiful and meaningful without testing areas of the brain that have been affected.

ACS also partners with the Eskaton Foundation, a non-profit whose mission is to improve the lives of seniors through innovative programs that support live-at-home programs and retirement community care. Through financial donations, hosting outreach events, and  enthusiastically spreading the word about Eskaton's senior programs throughout the community, ACS is proud to be listed as one of the Eskaton Foundation's philanthropic partners.

With over 3 decades of combined experience in the business and fine art world, the team at ACS is dedicated to continually mentoring and educating emerging artists about working with art consultants and commercial projects. We screen and recruit emerging, mid-career and established artists on a regular basis, and are extremely gratified when an artist we've found is able to successfully complete their first corporate commission through Art Consulting Services.

"Kira Stewart, the team and the artists of Art Consulting Services have been amazingly generous in donating artwork and services for both our midtown and south Sacramento offices. Women and children who enter our counseling and wellness centers are apprehensive and frightened. The array of photography, prints, clay and paintings that the team designed, curated, framed, installed and donated has made the environment welcoming and cheerful. We regularly hear comments from visitors, our staff and clients about how uplifting and beautiful the pieces are. We never felt like a pro bono client. They tackled the work with WEAVE as seriously and with as much detail as they would have any other client. We are grateful for their continued and enthusiastic support of the vital work WEAVE does in the community."

Executive Director

"The project of building a brand new 5 story regional medical center was a huge undertaking for our organization and our leadership team, and there were countless tireless, talented, dedicated people who gave their all to get it done and open our incredible new facility to the community.

Kira and the team at ACS were among such people. They were absolutely amazing and we are thrilled with the artwork they created and developed for our hospital. Not only did they have to adjust with us as we changed hospital presidents, facilities managers and other key people during the project, but we asked them to include absolutely every local artist they could find while still making us look like the world-class healthcare organization that we are. They completely surpassed our expectations!

I cannot recommend them highly enough – their experience, expertise, passion and creativity was as good as their project management and project execution  - a  difficult combination to find and one that few firms possess. ACS has it all in spades!"

Carol Ramirez
VP, Rideout Health Public Affairs & Community Relations

"Last year, the Rideout Cancer Center underwent a $19 million dollar expansion project.  Just as construction was underway, our interior designer mentioned she knew someone who could help us with artwork for our center.  When we first met Kira Stewart and her staff from Art Consulting Services (ACS), a sense of confidence was instilled right away and it became clear from the beginning this was going to be an exciting project.  Kira, Jennifer and her staff listened to us, viewed our facility and came back with suggestions and a presentation of beautiful artwork to adorn our building.

The Yuba-Sutter area is known for its agriculture, birds, and beautiful landscapes.  The artwork reflected the best of what our area has to offer with attention to softness and beauty to coincide with our “healing environment”.  The larger pieces were designed to incorporate local rice fields and orchards.  All of the artwork is connected in some form, and the theme flows throughout the center, whether it is through iron, glass, fabric, or photography.

This was a huge undertaking; ACS coordinated the artistry, logistics, foundation requests, installation and final presentation at our open house event.  Everything was done seamlessly.  Our community is small, but our donor hearts are big.  Patients are enjoying their special gift and have told us the artwork takes their mind off their illness, and some pieces remind them of a special place.  Art Consulting Services has extraordinary talent and gave our center something so special, words cannot express.  We are grateful to Kira, Jennifer and staff for introducing beautiful art for all of us to enjoy!"

"Sutter Medical Foundation has greatly benefited from the professional assistance ranging from art selection to installation provided to us by Art Consulting Services.  We have worked collaboratively with ACS to select artwork that supports a healing environment for our patients.  In addition, SMF is proud to work with ACS to support local artists by showcasing their work in our medical offices.

Kira and her team continually go above and beyond in their dedication to excellence.  Their commitment to staying on the leading edge with the artwork and design options they present to us is one of the many reasons Art Consulting Services continues to be our choice whenever we need artwork."

“Kira and her team did a great job. The choice of local artists that they proposed to us was a very successful solution for our company and the choices of artwork to match the finishes and our business style were developed in a great fashion. It was a good experience all the way around. Our employees look at the new artwork as a window to the outside; it gives them a sense of being in nature for just a moment in the middle of their workday. We’ve gotten great feedback from everyone.  I would absolutely recommend ACS without hesitation. It was a fabulous experience.”

"ACS did an amazing job curating the artwork for a large renovation project we recently completed. Our goal was to install artwork that would be meaningful, personal, local and would tell a story. ACS was able to achieve all of those goals through their thoughtful selection process.

It was wonderful to watch the buzz of excitement  as the residents watched the artwork being installed. That community has a very rich culture of art and many of the residents and staff recognized the local masters pieces even before the plaques went up. Silk fabric mobiles were installed, which added an additional layer of intrigue, many residents even commenting, “and they move…!!!”

My favorite pieces installed were large quilted fabric masterpieces. Residents donated their own pieces of fabric, many with heartwarming stories, which were woven into the art pieces, making them personal and original. ACS even created touchable samples along with a display board, telling the unique story. The artwork provided that special touch needed to make the entire renovation project as meaningful as possible.

We have loved the experience working with ACS – they did a terrific job!!"
